The project “Learning with the WasserFarm – Hydroponics in Education” introduces schools to small-scale hydroponic equipment as well as teaching and learning materials. The technical setup is designed to be affordable so that schools with limited budgets can acquire and use a system for several years.
The project consortium – TERRA URBANA Umlandentwicklungsgesellschaft mbH, Zossen, and FiBS RILLL Research Institute on Lifelong Learning gGmbH, Berlin – combines theoretical-technical expertise with pedagogical-didactic know-how.
The project is co-financed by the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU).
